Great news! Chickens for sale!

Meaghann’s famous beer can chicken!

We are getting close to having the most amazing pasture-raised chickens for sale! We will have farm fresh chicken ready for your plate or for your freezer around July 15th! We have 100 chickens available for sale and we will have another batch of 200 available in mid-October!

These chickens will come as a whole bird and will weigh on average 4-5 pounds. No idea how to cook or eat a whole chicken? No worries, we’ve got you covered with some recipe ideas and instructions. With a family of 6, we are able to get 3 meals out of 1 bird! Our favorites are an amazing oven roasted or beer-can chicken for the first meal, chicken salad or enchiladas for the second meal, and some left over for pizza toppings or sandwiches for a third meal!

The sale price will be $4.50/lb. We will have an order form for you shortly along with a pre-order form for the next batch coming in October.

What is a pasture-raised chicken? Pasture-raised means what the name implies – chickens living out doors eating bugs and grass as nature intended. What is the difference from free range chicken? Free range means the chickens have access to the outdoors for part of the day. That usually means a small door that opens in a giant chicken barn that virtually none of the birds use. If you want to find out more about free range vs. pasture-raised, please check out our Resources page for some great links!

If you would like to order a chicken or two, please send us a Facebook message, text, or give us a call! We will have an update with an order form soon! Thank you for your support!
